About the Role

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager HR Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure full compliance with statutory and company regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, and be proficient in Excel to create dashboards and analyze payroll data for effective reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Payroll Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve issues related to salary, taxes, deductions, etc.

- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliances (e.g., EPF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity).
- Coordinate with external agencies for audits and inspections related to payroll compliance.

- Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management, highlighting trends, discrepancies, or insights for decision-making.

- Excel & Data Analysis:
- Create dashboards and reports using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.).
- Analyze payroll data for variance, trend analysis, and optimization of payroll processes.

- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the HR, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless payroll and benefits management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting of payroll expenses.

Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field. MBA/PG in HR preferred.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills are a must (formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
- Experience with HRIS/payroll software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
